This article explains how Catalog Administrators can view and manage users for their dealership. The User tab allows you to see all available users, review seat assignments, edit user details, and check who is currently logged in to the catalog.
Before You Begin
If you need help accessing the User Management tool, see:
Understanding the User Screen
The User tab contains several columns that provide detailed information about each account.
Username
- Shows all users associated with the dealership.
- Usernames must be unique.
Seats Allocated
This column shows whether the user is logged in (either 0 or 1).
- 1 means the user is currently logged in.
- 0 means the user is not logged in.
Name
- Displays the name linked to the user account.
- Shows the email address assigned to the user.
- Used for password resets and notifications.
- Each email address must be unique.
Telephone
- Optional phone number for the user.
Role
- Indicates the user's permission level:
- User: Can access the catalog.
- Administrator: Can access the catalog and create or modify user accounts.
Best Practice Recommendation
We strongly recommend assigning an email address to every user. Email addresses will become required for all accounts, and they allow users to reset their own password if it is ever forgotten.
Available Actions
Located at the top right of the User tab:
- Create: Adds a new user to the dealership.
- Edit: Updates information for the selected user.
- Delete: Removes a user when permitted by system rules.
- Export: Downloads a list of users for reporting or record keeping.
Important:
Before you can edit, delete, or export a user, you must first click on the user’s row to highlight it. If the user is not highlighted, the action buttons will not apply to the correct account.

Changing User Memberships (OEM Access)
If you need to change which OEM catalogs a user can access, use the Membership screen. This is where an administrator assigns OEM access for each individual user.
