About File Writer
File Writer is a method of integration where the catalog exports selected parts into a file format that the DMS can read and import, such as a text or XML file.
Setup File Writer
- Click Settings > Integration Settings.
- If you are setting up a new integration, click the New button.
If you are editing an existing integration, click the Edit button. - From the Select an integration dropdown, choose File Writer
- Return to the original integration documentation to complete the remaining setup steps for your DMS.
