We are pleased to announce the following exciting updates to the GM Global EPC. You will see them on the web-delivered EPC via Global Connect on June 27, 2025. The locally hosted USB media will be mailed on July 11, 2025. As always, we are grateful for your input, which has powered these changes. So, keep the suggestions coming as we work together to develop future improvements!
Vehicle Wheelbase Information |
Vehicle Wheelbase Information is now available in the Vehicle Attribute section of the VIN Information window in the EPC. This allows dealers to quickly and accurately identify Wheelbase lengths for specific vehicles, eliminating the need for manual measurements and saving valuable time. The data is received monthly ensuring up-to-date and GM-specified accuracy.
Refreshed User Interface |
We’ve given the User Interface a light refresh! While no features have been added or removed, you may notice some subtle improvements like updated shading and refined spacing — all designed to make your experience a little smoother and easier on the eyes.
Improved SI Integration Filtering |
We've enhanced the Labor and Service Information feature in GM Global EPC. Previously, filtering and efficiency issues impacted performance. Now, we've improved data filtering based on the selected vehicle and part record, making it more accurate and efficient.
Previously, users needed to select from the dropdown menus to enter values for the vehicle. In the instance below, no VIN has been entered for the vehicle.
Now, the dropdowns are automatically populated including Labor Codes and Repairs when only one option is found. By default, Single Use parts will display when the Repair procedure is selected.
The same enhanced filtering applies when entering a VIN — helping you find the right information faster and with greater accuracy.
Enhanced Part Name Search Results |
When you perform a search, you'll now see more than just your original results. If you don't find exactly what you're looking for, helpful suggested search terms will appear to guide you. These suggestions are designed to help you explore related topics or refine your search. Look for them in the drop-down menu on the Search Results screen — it’s a great way to expand your search and find the information you need more quickly!
Additional Part & Package Specifications |
The Part Details window now includes additional part specifications and package specifications for packs in addition to eachs to help you make more informed decisions.. The Specifications tab displays part details under "Product Specifications" and packaging details under "Package Specifications."
